November 9, 2020--The Spiritual Journey
The Spiritual Journey goes up and down.
It does not go straight to the mountaintop.
The mountaintop is just one place on the journey.
The valley is another.
There are many ups and downs,
many mountains and valleys, on the journey.
Better get used to it
and then you will travel more gracefully.
You will still experience highs and lows,
but you will learn to hold both with compassion.
Then the highs will not puff your ego up
and the lows will not devastate you.
